      BUY BABOLAT PADEL RACKET?

      BABOLAT PADEL 2024 COLLECTION

This year, as always, Babolat has come up with a beautiful new collection of padel rackets. Just like in 2023, Babolat has come up with three different lines this year, namely:

The Airline, designed for players who like to dominate the opponent from all sides of the court.

The Counter line, designed for players who want to dominate the game patiently in order to win the perfect point or attacking position.
The Technical line, designed for more technical players who want to win the point from all sides with a smash.

Each line has different types of rackets. These are the Vertuo, Veron, and Viper. The Viper rackets are the most durable because of the carbon in the racket surface. Carbon is more durable than fiberglass, which is used for the racket surface of the Vertuo. A combination of fiberglass and carbon is used for the Veron rackets, which provides more comfort.

      THE BRAND: BABOLAT PADEL

Babolat is one of the most well-known brands in racket sports. The brand produces rackets for tennis, padel, badminton, and squash. Babolat became known in tennis through its collaboration with Rafael Nadal. They are trying to do the same in padel. Juan Lebron (current number 1 in the World Padel Tour ranking) has been playing with Babolat since 2019. Babolat has the ambition to become the #1 padel brand in the world.

WHO ACTUALLY PLAYS WITH BABOLAT PADEL RACKETS?

Babolat padel rackets are seen everywhere on the padel courts. These rackets have begun a big surge in the sport! BRAND STORY BABOLAT

Babolat began as a family business and its first venture into the world of sports in 1875 when tennis and badminton were still in their infancy. The Lyon-based brand owes its early success and expertise to a raw material - natural gut - from which the first tennis racket strings were made. It then became the leader in racket sports equipment - frames, strings, shoes, clothing, balls, grips, accessories, and bags - and technical equipment for racket sports professionals. Building on its tradition of innovation in support of players and the game, Babolat rose in the rankings as the choice of champions who played at the world's most prestigious badminton, tennis, and padel competitions.

After using sheep gut and then cow gut, Babolat begins to work on a sustainable alternative to meet the demand for finer strings and higher tension from the first tennis champions. After taking over his father's company, Albert created the benchmark VS in 1925. A natural, revolutionary string, famous for the French tennis "Musketeers" (Jean Borotra, Jacques Brugnon, René Lacoste, and Henri Cochet) and Suzanne Lenglen. Almost a century later, the VS remains a global benchmark in the world of racket sports, with more than 100 Grand Slam tournaments won by champions equipped with Babolat VS strings.

1950: The world as a playing field...

By 1950, tennis had become a truly global phenomenon. Babolat was aware of the importance of being present wherever tennis is played. Paul Babolat builds an international retail network for his products. An instant hit, Babolat quickly becomes a household name among players worldwide, including in Argentina, Germany, Italy, the United States, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Australia, and Japan.

      Babolat Advantage

1955: Paul Babolat, a key player in the growth of tennis, expands Babolat's range while continuing to design innovative products that are better adapted and more accessible to players. One of his inventions is Elascord - the brand's first synthetic (nylon) string.

      Breakthrough

1960: The sixties mark a turning point in Babolat's history, as it launches a complete range of accessories for racket frames, including leather and synthetic grips, and Babol coating to protect gut strings. It is such a success that a new verb enters the lexicon: "babolizing." Wooden rackets now need to be held in a press after the gut strings have been "babolized."
