A Month of Momentum: November Reflections at Balwin Padel
By Sebastian Brokmann
The past month has been one of the most energising and defining since starting this journey with Balwin Padel. The level of play at the second Balwin Padel Tour was the highest we’ve seen, community engagement reached new heights, and we officially brought back The Balwin Padel Show. November was a month of progress, passion, and proud moments.
🎙️ The Balwin Padel Show Returns — Featuring SA’s #1 U14, Isa Badat
One of the standout highlights was reviving The Balwin Padel Show.
Our latest episode features Isa Badat, South Africa’s #1 U14 player and one of the country’s most promising young stars. Sitting down with Isa reminded me why youth development is such an important pillar of our vision. His hunger, discipline, and humility are inspiring, and his stories reflect just how bright the future of South African padel truly is.
This episode marks the beginning of a refreshed, dynamic era for the show — with more legends, more juniors, deeper insights, and powerful storytelling to come.
💚 Waterfall City on the Rise — Community, Coaching & Growth
Waterfall City continues to strengthen its position as our flagship club — a home of world-class play, hospitality, and community.
A major milestone this month was Chevaan did many coaching hours in his first month, showcasing his professionalism, consistency, and commitment to the players. Coaching has become a key engine for growth at Waterfall.
We’ve also introduced and enhanced:
-
Centre Court VIP seating — our “Wembley 2.0”, set for completion mid-December
-
Packed Americanos across Business Club, Ladies’, Juniors, and Elite formats
-
A strong flow of new and returning players
-
Impeccable court conditions, thanks to Gift’s exceptional maintenance and presence
-
A new chef, Hendrik Theron, leading the kitchen into an exciting new chapter
The atmosphere at Waterfall City is truly world-class — and it keeps improving month after month.
🏆 Events, Play & Community
November was a month of high-quality play and meaningful community moments.
Team Americano – Balwin Padel x Balwin Properties
A vibrant, high-energy event full of padel, great food, connection, and fun — a perfect showcase of how sport brings people together and an excellent format for team-building events. Led with incredible enthusiasm by Emmanuel.
Elite Americanos with Aidan Carrazedo
These early-morning sessions have become a favourite for top players seeking intensity, challenge, and improvement.
Balwin Padel Junior Tour — November 28–30
Our youth pipeline continues to grow fast. The Junior Tour saw enthusiastic young players filling the courts, competing hard, learning continuously, and creating an inspiring atmosphere.
Together, these events reinforce the culture we’re building:
competitive yet inclusive, energetic yet community-driven.
🇳🇱 Dutch Padel Stars Coming to South Africa — June 2026
Another major highlight was confirming that 20 top Dutch players will visit South Africa from 17–22 June 2026.
Among them are standout European rising stars Moos Sporken and Nikander Damianos.
They’ll face off against the Balwin Padel Team at Waterfall City — showcasing world-class talent on our premium MejorSet courts. This visit strengthens the bond between South Africa and the Netherlands and helps raise the competitive level locally.
🏗️ Building the Future — 2026 Venues
While our current clubs continue to thrive, the real momentum lies in what’s coming next.
Our 2026 pipeline is the strongest it has ever been, with five new indoor clubs confirmed across South Africa:

-
